Heavy
This weekend was busy.
Gorgeous wedding on Friday night filled with cupcakes, polaroids and fairylights in jam jars. Seeing the bride and groom together made me realise that there’s a special kind of love individual to each person. Weddings are definitely my favourite occasion.
I got the train, quietly hungover, down to London the following day. Curry, Brick lane, booze was a good way to spend the day time. More booze then, more friends, signified a very heavy night to say goodbye to a bestfriend travelling over the world to China. Cocktail pitchers, tubes, rain. It was another special kind of night just because I was with some of the people that make me have the most amazing times. I miss SF (as always). I would have loved to be in a garage beside a hill watching the rain and sun come up.
I lay on the floor of the station this morning with two other friends. Watching them curl up together and sleep and I thought about the things that have passed . Hopped on the tube as I couldn’t face four hours waiting on the floor of the overground station and closed my eyes. It was only when I got into my bed finally at 8am that I slept.
