january evenings
i had one of those ridiculously calm moments on the way to work tonight. dark, cold, with music flooding my ears i drifted somewhere else and for a moment everything stopped. i heard nothing. i felt nothing. i was completely alone. for those five seconds before i realised, it was magical.
